Oh, our dyno reads low?
Over the past few years that we've had our dyno up we've constantly heard "those numbers seem low" or "I saw ______ with ______ and ______ on it put down ______ and you're only putting down _________(fill in the blanks). But besides whp numbers we have never heard complaints about performance afterwards. You'll also always hear that 1/4 mile trap speed vs vehicle weight is a true showing of whp output. We agree. But not everybody drag races and trap speeds will vary depending on driver.
For example: Our 237whp 21XX pound Civic(All motor) ran 11.50's @ over 116mph all day. According to dynojet users and "online calculators" 116+mph at 21XX pounds is 250ish whp.
This was brought to my attention from a local customer. This is from an ad he found for an RSX for sale.
"Car was dynoed at ProFunction's dyno dynamics hearbreak dyno and made 260whp 210wtq had it on a local dyno jet and made 287whp 229wtq car runs absolutly amazing.."
Geez, 27whp down and 19wtq down from a local Dynojet.
Sorry guys, our dyno reads a little low.
